I spent many many hours with Corey feeding his hungry brain with what works and what doesn’t work in this Performance world. I enjoyed his willingness to learn and his passion to be the best he could be.
I met Corey about 10 years ago while he worked at Stormy Hill, every day Corey had off he was down here with me working and learning about Performance Motors, Tuning Procedures with the TTS Master Tune, and Dyno Operations. Who is Corey Barnum you ask? Well let me tell you about Corey….! Corey went to MMI (Motorcycle Mechanics Institute) where he graduated in the top of his class, Corey then worked at Stormy Hill Harley Davidson where he achieved his ”Master Tech” level in the MoCo schools. It’s BITTER because I feel like I’m losing a kid after raising it for better than 48 years, it’s SWEET because I’m tired and I just can’t keep up the pace at 72 years old….these bikes are too heavy for me to push around anymore and they are getting too big for this old shrinking body to touch the ground with tippy toes, so, it’s time to pass on the ”Pathan” to Corey Barnum.Ĭorey will be taking over the responsibilities of ”Doc’s Performance Tuning” starting June 1st. ……that’s all I can say or think at this being my last post for Doc’s Performance Tuning.
